Introduction

Welcome to Bitt of Paw!

You may know me, and the four-leggeds from my other blog, Bitt of Raw. I wanted to have a space to write more about my passion for dogs, cats, and other animals and not all of my ideas seemed to fit with Bitt of Raw. So, here we are.

First and foremost, meet the critters!

Sienna is a 10-year-old lovable pit bull mix, rescued from the pound. She's a love bug, bossy girl, and a goofball all in one. She loves to meet new people and cuddle. We've had her for almost all her life and she's gone from an anxious chewer to a settled senior. She's slowing down a bit but still up for fun adventures to the park or playing with young puppies.

Foucault (pronounced Foo-coh, named after the philosopher) is our formerly feral tabby cat. He's a bit shy of new folks but if you catch a glimpse of him he's handsome as can be. He loves to be held and purrs up a storm. Favorite activities include chasing his cat dancer, racing around on the balcony, and munching on salmon treats.

Ellie is the newest addition to the pack. She's a former stray with a new lease on life. We've only had her for a few months and she's still learning some basic leash manners, but is able to do basic commands such as sit, down, beg (on her hind legs), and paw. Her passion is tracking and finding squirrels. She's a little shy when she first meets you but after awhile she'll be giving you big bear hugs.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my other two recently departed critters, Zuki and Heather. They were so dear to me and I'd love to dedicate this blog to their love and devotion to me and the other lives they touched.
